Such good food! I was a little worried when I came in because there wasn't a sound from the restaurant. I soon discovered it was because everyone was busy enjoying their meals. Lots to choose from and the prices don't give you a heart attack. I will definitely be back.
Stopped in last Friday night and had a great time! Met a great couple, good conversation. Seeing as the wife and I are looking to buy a house here I have already found our bar.
A good quick bite off the highway. Good specials for the over 55 crowd. Kind of an old fashioned cafe feel. Good service.
We arrived at 4:05 for an early dinner, and my father tried to order the Prime Rib, but was not able to because they serve that tat 5, which was fine (he then ordered fried chicken steak). However at 5 when some tried to order the prime rib they immediately said that they were sold out (we still did not have our food). Just about when we were about to leave our food arrived. I had the captains seafood platter, the batter had a strong fish taste, the scallops were flavorless and had the consistency of jello, the shrimp was also flavorless, and was rubbery. Then for the fillet of cod was LITERALLY just the SKIN. Usually the food is decent but this was so awful I do not plan on coming back.
Services was great, We dinned in the bar with only one server and no complaints. Very hard working folks. Thank you.
