Very nice. Well kept, clean, and quiet. Plus it's not far from the casino.
The nicest people are running this rv park! We stopped for just one night but had been camping without many amenities for two weeks prior. It was so nice to have full hookups, a bar to hang out in while I did enormous amounts of laundry. The bartender unlocked the laundry room for us so we could use all of the machines way after hours. The next morning we had great coffee and a nice hot breakfast at their little diner. Our spot was right on a pretty river . So happy we stumbled on this place.
Beautiful park like settings. Like camping in the mountains. People are friendly.
I've been going here for the past 18 years with my father for labor day weekend. I remember the charm of this location when i was younger and am kind of sad too say it doesn't really exist anymore. The amount that they charge for camping here has become quite ludicrous. They charge you for basically everything. Obviously, they charge for the spot, but they also charge you for the car your driving oh, and all the people in your vehicle? You need to pay for them too.. oh and you have an animal as well? Ok that's extra as well. Oh you want to fish? Yup, better fork up some more cash. And you better remember to bring everything you need because their store has about a 60% mark up on products. They do have showers for a quarter, better bring a dollar if you want more then 5 min.
So far it's great! I love the old school playground! Don't see metal slides took often. LOL water is close with a sandy beach, restaurant/bar, a little general store, propane, showers& laundry. Once you park you won't need to leave. Home away from home with the outdoors!
This place has always been family owned and operated and family orientated, unfortunately the younger generation seem to be steering the direction of this park away from being a fun place to bring your kids and spend time with family, and more towards lining their own pockets with your money
